MUANDA Global is deeply committed to ensuring that our presence in the Democratic Republic of Congo delivers direct, lasting benefits to the communities where we operate. Beyond mining, our humanitarian mission focuses on strengthening infrastructure, expanding opportunity, and improving quality of life.
When we began, our focus was on multiple regions within the DRC such as Tanganyika, Haut-Katanga, Haut-Lomami, and Lualaba provinces. But as our operations have expanded to other African nations, so has the target for our mission.
Our efforts are designed not just to provide immediate support, but to lay the foundation for long-term development that empowers local populations and creates shared prosperity.

Access to clean water remains one of the most urgent needs across rural Congo. MUANDA Global will invest in drilling boreholes, constructing wells, and installing solar-powered pumping and filtration systems to ensure communities have safe, reliable water year-round. This effort reduces the prevalence of waterborne diseases such as cholera and dysentery while eliminating the need for women and children to walk long distances to collect water. By bringing water closer to homes and schools, we free up time for education and economic activity, multiplying the impact across generations.

Education is the foundation of long-term growth, yet many children in Tanganyika, Haut-Katanga, Haut-Lomami, and Lualaba study in overcrowded classrooms with little access to textbooks, electricity, or trained teachers. MUANDA Global will support schools through infrastructure rehabilitation, provision of learning materials, scholarships for students, and professional training for teachers. We will also partner with technical institutions to develop specialized programs in mining engineering, environmental science, and business administration—equipping Congolese youth to take on leadership roles in their own natural resource economy.

Basic healthcare access is critically underdeveloped in these provinces. MUANDA Global will invest in building community clinics that provide primary healthcare services, focusing especially on maternal and child health. Mobile medical units will extend outreach into remote areas, offering vaccinations, malaria prevention programs, emergency treatment, and health education. By addressing preventable illnesses and improving maternal care, we aim to reduce mortality rates and build healthier, more resilient communities.

Despite fertile land, agricultural productivity in the region remains low due to outdated methods, lack of irrigation, and limited access to seeds and fertilizers. MUANDA Global will partner with local cooperatives to introduce improved farming techniques, distribute high-quality seeds, and develop small-scale irrigation systems. These programs will boost yields, strengthen food security, and generate local income by enabling farmers to sell surplus produce. Strengthening agriculture not only nourishes communities but also stabilizes local economies beyond dependence on mining.

Many communities in the provinces where we operate remain cut off from basic services due to poor roads, limited bridges, and unreliable electricity. MUANDA Global will collaborate with local governments to support critical infrastructure projects such as road rehabilitation, bridge construction, and small-scale electrification initiatives powered by renewable energy. Better infrastructure reduces transport costs, connects farmers and small businesses to markets, and ensures students and patients can reach schools and hospitals safely and reliably.

Women and young people in Congo face some of the highest barriers to economic participation. MUANDA Global will launch vocational training programs, micro-business grants, and mentorship networks tailored to women and youth. Programs will focus on entrepreneurship, tailoring, agribusiness, and technical trades tied to mining supply chains. By empowering these groups, we strengthen families and communities while building a workforce that drives long-term social and economic transformation.

Local commerce often struggles from lack of infrastructure, financing, and secure trading environments. MUANDA Global will invest in building safe, organized marketplaces and support the development of cooperatives for small-scale producers. By facilitating access to micro-finance and connecting local producers with regional and global markets, we help communities capture more value from their labor and resources, generating inclusive economic growth.

Mining can leave lasting environmental footprints, but MUANDA Global is committed to rehabilitation and preservation. We will invest in reforestation programs, soil restoration, and biodiversity conservation in areas affected by industrial activity. Environmental stewardship ensures that while we extract today’s resources, we also protect tomorrow’s ecosystems—providing sustainable land, water, and air quality for communities and future generations.
The urgency of MUANDA Global’s humanitarian mission is underscored by the realities faced in Tanganyika, Haut-Katanga, Haut-Lomami, and Lualaba:

MUANDA Global recognizes that sustainable development requires partnership beyond the private sector. We therefore welcome collaboration with international development agencies, non-governmental organizations, faith-based institutions, impact investors, multilateral bodies, and socially responsible corporations who share our commitment to responsible mining and community empowerment.
By combining operational capability with humanitarian vision, we believe meaningful and measurable impact can be achieved across all of Africa.
Organizations interested in aligning with our mission are encouraged to engage with us to explore structured partnerships, joint initiatives, and long-term development programs that uplift the communities where we operate.
